Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Storeperson to join our team at Vancouver International Airport. As a Storeperson, you will be responsible for receiving and storing food products, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring that all goods are properly documented and dispatched. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
Main Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming food products to ensure quality and quantity meet specifications
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and perform regular stocktakes
- Organize and manage storage areas to ensure optimal space utilization and minimize waste
- Issue orders to customers and ensure timely delivery of products
- Monitor temperature control requirements and other SOPs to maintain a safe and healthy environment
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of various products, CCP1 log, Julian Date Code system, and temperature control
- Familiarity with Food Products (e.g., meats, fruits, vegetables)
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask
