The Logistics Coordinator Role
This position involves handling and expediting live shipments, tracing and tracking inbound freight, and performing clerical responsibilities like logging pre-alerts and making folders. You will also be responsible for entering event codes, following customer SOP, and communicating with stakeholders.

Daily Tasks and Responsibilities
- Complete all work within Air Lateral/OPS guidelines
- First priority: handling and expediting live shipments
- Tracing and tracking of inbound freight
- Clerical responsibilities: logging pre-alerts, making folders, filing
- Enter event codes as trained and outlined in the Air Lateral/OPS manual
- Follow customer SOP
- Communication:
  - Respond to emails in a timely manner
  - Keep overseas partners updated on shipment status
  - Pickup phone calls within the department
  - Scan documents into the system as required

Accounting and Reporting
- Closing and settling shipments according to Air Lateral/OPS manual
- Bill customers timely according to Air Lateral/OPS manual
- Correct EDI and billing errors based on daily/monthly reporting tools provided

Requirements and Benefits
- University Degree or Industry Specific Diploma
- 1-2 years of experience in the industry is ideal
- Computer savvy
- Customer service experience is a plus

Salary Range
The estimated annual salary for this position is between CAD $45,000 and $52,000.
