We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Project Coordinator to join our team at Englobe. As an Intermediate Environmental Engineer, you will play a key role in the implementation and management of environmental projects.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating and completing assigned activities related to environmental project implementation and management;
  • Performing phased environmental site assessments, including historical research, site inspections, and soil and groundwater sampling programs;
  • Carrying out surveys for designated substances and other hazardous materials;
  • Supervising and verifying site remediation and tank removal activities;
  • Air quality monitoring;
  • Preparation of field notes, data analysis, and evaluation;
  • Participating in technical report and proposal writing;
  • Developing and maintaining client relationships.

Requirements for this role include:

  • University degree or college diploma in environmental engineering, earth sciences, or an environmental-related field;
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant environmental assessment/field experience;
  • Member of Professional Engineer and Geoscientists is an asset, but not mandatory;
  • Working knowledge of both provincial and federal environmental regulations;
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills;
  • Experience in supervising contractors on the work site;
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to complete work within established timeframes;
  • Team-oriented and excellent communicator;
  • Valid driver's license;
  • Willingness and ability to travel throughout Atlantic provinces on an occasional basis.
