Director of Demand Planning

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director – Demand Planning to join our team at The Kraft Heinz Company. As a key member of our supply chain organization, you will be responsible for leading the demand planning process and team for assigned categories, driving improvements to current business practices, and developing strong working relationships with business partners across Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the demand planning integrated business planning process for Canada BU, ensuring accurate forecasts and timely production deadlines.
- Develop and implement forecasting best practices, identifying areas for improvement and driving continuous supply chain optimization.
- Manage a team of demand planners, fostering a culture of personal ownership and continuous improvement, and driving transformation of ways of working and demand planning KPIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional business partners to ensure alignment and effective communication, influencing decision-making at the executive level.
- Drive improvements to current business practices, developing strong working relationships with business partners across Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Finance.
Requirements
- 10+ years of supply chain experience, preferably in demand planning.
- Bachelor of Science or equivalent required, preferably in supply chain, operations, or related discipline. MBA preferred.
- Strong understanding of supply chain/demand planning principles, organization structures, and key metrics.
- Experience with SAP, o9, or other ERP/APS software, and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong cross-functional leadership capability, with the ability to influence a wide spectrum of stakeholders.
