Cleaning Supervisor Job Description

A&M Cleaning Inc o/a A&M Cleaning is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Cleaning Supervisor to join our team. As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our cleaning services, ensuring that our facilities are clean and safe for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our cleaning team to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Inspect sites or facilities to ensure that they meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Prepare and manage budgets and cost estimates for cleaning services.
  • Receive payment for specialized cleaning jobs and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Assist our cleaning team in performing their duties and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Coordinate work activities with other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that our team is working efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the cleaning industry.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Work Environment:

Our team works in a variety of settings, including offices, schools, and healthcare facilities. As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be required to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and may be required to stand for extended periods.

Experience:

7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the cleaning industry.

English is the primary language of communication in this role.

Work Hours:

30 to 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
