Cleaning Supervisor Job Description

A&M Cleaning Inc o/a A&M Cleaning is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Cleaning Supervisor to join our team. As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning operations, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety, and coordinating with other departments to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of cleaning staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
  • Inspect sites or facilities to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Prepare and manage budgets and cost estimates for cleaning projects.
  • Receive payments for specialized cleaning services.
  • Assist cleaning staff in performing their duties and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Coordinate work activities with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Establish and manage work schedules to ensure adequate coverage and productivity.
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the cleaning industry.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Work Environment:

The Cleaning Supervisor will work in a variety of settings, including offices, schools, and other facilities. The role requires standing for extended periods, working in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and meeting tight deadlines.

Experience:

7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the cleaning industry.

Language:

English is the primary language of communication in this role.

Work Hours:

30 to 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work overtime as needed.
