We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Customer Support Specialist to join our team at Canon Canada. This is a full-time, remote opportunity for an individual with excellent customer service skills and technical knowledge.

Job Summary:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service via phone, email, and chat to Canon clients in English and French.
  • Assist customers with troubleshooting complex technical issues and provide solutions to resolve their inquiries.
  • Upsell products and services while guiding customers to make informed purchasing decisions.

About the Role:

  • As a member of our team, you will assist customers with a range of consumer products, including fax machines, scanners, printers, and photo equipment.
  • You will use your problem-solving skills to identify each customer's inquiry and guide them to an appropriate solution, ensuring every case is resolved satisfactorily.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service through various communication channels with a professional tone and helpful attitude.
  • Provide clear direction and communicate troubleshooting steps to achieve customer satisfaction and solutions.
  • Frequently find opportunities to add value for customers and Canon by offering updates or detailed information on pre-sale inquiries.
  • Utilize our CRM database to navigate customer information and document interactions.
  • Meet monthly KPIs, operational metrics, and employee reliability to create a great customer experience.

Requirements:

  • Bilingual (English-French) proficiency.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a contact center or customer service environment.
  • Proven customer relations skills professionally and courteously in a multi-channel environment.
  • Familiarity with computers to learn systems/processes promptly.
  • Ability to organize time, set priorities, and multitask to meet KPIs.
  • Exemplary written and oral communication skills.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
