Assistant Professor in Composition/Theory

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our faculty as an Assistant Professor in Composition/Theory. This tenure-track position is part of the School for the Arts within the College of Arts & Science at the University of Saskatchewan.
Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in composition, theory, and related subject areas.
- Develop and teach new undergraduate and/or graduate level courses.
- Contribute to ongoing research, scholarly, and artistic work (RSAW).
- Provide leadership in the composition and theory areas, including recruitment and administrative activities.
Candidates must hold a Doctorate (DMA or in composition or theory or a related music field) or a Master's in Composition with a significant and ongoing record of professional success in music composition at the international level.
Post-secondary teaching experience is an asset.
