Job Summary:

The Child and Youth Worker will be responsible for providing support and guidance to children and youth in our community, focusing on their education, personal development, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement life skills workshops to promote personal growth and development.
  • Assess client needs and eligibility for specific services, and provide recommendations for support.
  • Prepare reports and case histories to document client progress and outcomes.
  • Supervise activities of clients living in group homes and half-way houses, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Collaborate with office and volunteer staff to provide comprehensive support services.
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
Work Environment:

The Child and Youth Worker will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, requiring strong organizational and time management skills.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

35-40 hours per week.
