Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Pipefitter to join our team at Strike Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for laying out, assembling, installing, and maintaining pipe systems, pipe supports, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate installation
  • Assemble piping and valves in module and compressor packages
  • Prepare pipe and fittings for tacking, hoisting, and rigging
  • Hydrotest, assemble, and install pipe spools in the fabrication facility
  • Measure, cut, and thread pipe to the required shape
  • Install supports, valves, piping, and control systems
  • Remove and replace worn components and reactivate systems

Requirements

  • Valid Journeyperson certificate from the appropriate provincial or federal authority
  • Valid H2S Alive and CSTS 2020 or PST tickets
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug & alcohol testing
  • Able to lift 50 pounds
  • Comfortable working outdoors

Work Environment

This position will be based at the Cenovus Foster Creek facility on the Cold Lake Air Weapons Range. Shifts will be 8 on/6 off with 12 hour days, and a $300/shift travel allowance will be provided. Camp accommodations will be provided.
