Job Title: Food Service Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Manager to join our team at Soleiki Asian Fusion Restaurant. As a Food Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and dining area, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring that food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintaining accurate inventory levels and minimizing waste.
- Establish methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that our kitchen and dining area are running smoothly and efficiently.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of dining room staff, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Prepare budget and cost estimates, ensuring that our kitchen and dining area are operating within budget.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing accurate and timely reports to management.
Requirements:
- 3-4 years of experience in a food service management role.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and to tight deadlines.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and to walk.
