About the Position

Brand Momentum is seeking a detail-oriented Merchandising Specialist to work independently at multiple retail locations, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Territory: Lower Mainland region, including Langley, Surrey, New West, and Delta.

Job Type: Full-time, temporary contract until the end of the year.

About You

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong work ethic, able to work independently and with attention to detail. You should be well-organized, enjoy a fast-paced work environment, and have a talent for building strong business relationships. Previous experience in a food store is an asset. You must have a smartphone and access to the internet.

Responsibilities
  • Perform merchandising tasks at multiple retail stores, including maintaining sections, rotating stock, and ensuring proper distribution of products.
  • Own the execution of a defined territory, prioritizing effectively in accordance with corporate objectives.
  • Secure additional/incremental off-shelf displays and clean sections to ensure food safety requirements are met.
  • Replace and/or repair fixtures as required, and place POP materials, including shelf tags and signage.
  • Place product orders and work with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Promote special buying opportunities, displays, and new products to maximize sales.
  • Perform necessary POG changes and make recommendations to adjust sales strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with department personnel and store management.
  • Submit daily required visit reports/call reports.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Valid driver's license
  • Previous merchandising experience
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
  • Able to commit to the length of the contract
  • Have a smartphone and access to the internet
  • Pay rate starts at $20/hour
