We are seeking a skilled Industrial Products Designer to join our team at Grand River Granite LTD. As an Industrial Products Designer, you will be responsible for creating detailed designs for consumer and business products, including industrial products. Your expertise in computer-aided design (CAD) will be essential in bringing our product ideas to life.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design and a passion for creating innovative products. You will work closely with our team to understand our product vision and develop designs that meet our high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop detailed designs for consumer and business products, including industrial products
  • Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create and edit designs
  • Collaborate with the team to understand product vision and develop designs that meet our standards
  • Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers and refugees, youth employment, veterans, indigenous people, and visible minorities

Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in design
  • Basic security clearance
