About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A&W Restaurant. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that staff are meeting the required standards.
  • Estimate and Manage Inventory: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
  • Ensure Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and take corrective action when necessary to maintain high standards.
  • Maintain Records: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
  • Supervise and Check Assembly: Supervise and check the assembly of trays, and ensure that they are presented in a clean and attractive manner.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Establish work schedules for staff, and ensure that they are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality food. You will have a proven track record of supervising and leading a team, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, with a focus on customer service and quality food.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel.
