Job Summary

The Electronics Technician II plays a crucial role in the assembly, prototyping, testing, and maintenance of electronic equipment and components. This position requires a strong understanding of electronic principles, safety procedures, and electro-mechanical tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and test electronic modules, prototypes, and printed circuit boards (PCBs) to ensure proper functionality.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with electronic equipment and components.
  • Perform routine production testing to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Supervise and provide feedback to lower-level technicians.
  • Conduct failure analysis and recommend corrective action.
  • Assist with inventory management and packaging of electronic devices and modules.
Requirements:
  • Two (2) or more years of related experience.
  • Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering Technician/Technology, Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technician, or four (4) additional years of related experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of electronic components and principles, safety procedures, and electro-mechanical tools.
  • Ability to interpret schematics, mechanical and electrical drawings, diagrams, wiring lists, Bill of Materials, and internally driven specifications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
