Key Responsibilities- Conduct consultations with Indigenous and municipal councils and committees regarding regulatory processes.
- Undertake community and environmental planning studies, contributing to long-range planning projects, including municipal and regional land use plans and development regulations.
- Conduct public engagement and stakeholder consultation for municipal and regional land use planning projects.
- Contribute to environmental assessments, including research, report writing, and stakeholder and regulatory consultation.
- Assist with the review and submission of development applications.
- Develop and coordinate client relationships and business growth in Atlantic Canada, particularly with land development and real estate clients, municipalities, and Indigenous communities.
- Become an active member of our national and local planning team.
- Commit to self-development and ongoing learning and professional development.
- Contribute to Dillon's corporate profile through active participation in professional associations and committees.
- A degree in planning, preferably at the Master's level.
- At least five (5) years or more of relevant experience, preferably in the consulting industry.
- A full or provisional member in the Canadian Institute of Planners (CIP) association or eligible to be a member within two years.
- Valid NB Class 5 driver's license or provincial equivalent.
