Job Title: Music Program Planner

Five Corners Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Music Program Planner to join our team. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating music programs and events.

Job Summary:

The Music Program Planner will work closely with our concert promoter to plan and execute music programs and events. This includes supervising staff, setting up and operating light and electrical equipment, auditioning and casting performers, and ensuring the overall success of the events.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise staff and ensure the smooth execution of events
  • Set up, operate, and make repairs to light and electrical equipment
  • Audition and cast performers for roles
  • Work under pressure to meet deadlines and ensure event success
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle
  • Ability to work in an urban area
  • MS Excel, MS Windows, and MS Word skills
