Digital Marketing Specialist

At VERB Interactive, we're looking for a talented Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our SEO team, you'll work closely with internal stakeholders to help clients improve their search engine ranking through optimization strategies and technical SEO recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform SEO activities including keyword research, competitor research, content, and website performance analysis
  • Maintain SEO keywords trends charts
  • Utilize site scanning tools to find and fix technical SEO issues
  • Implement site architecture, on-page, off-page, and local SEO strategies to improve clients' visibility in search results
  • Support backlinking and outreach strategies
  • Work closely with an SEO Strategist to coordinate SEO tasks for multiple clients
  • Follow up with the Accounts team and other departments to ensure relevant tasks are completed
  • Continuously improve SEO strategies and tactics
  • Participate in SEO team training activities
  • Stay up to date on SEO and integrated marketing trends

Requirements:

  • 0-2 years of SEO experience
  • Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, or equivalent experience
  • Familiarity with technical SEO tools and keyword tools
  • Familiarity with CMS such as Wordpress and Drupal
  • Demonstrated ability to write and create content for SEO and/or social media
  • Able to take constructive criticism as a learning opportunity
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Highly organized with the ability to function in a fast-paced business environment
