Halton Healthcare seeks a skilled Emergency Department Nurse Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified nurse with a strong background in emergency nursing, who can provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our team.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to think critically, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department, including triage, assessment, and stabilization of patients.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and positive patient outcomes.
  • Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence.
  • Maintain current certification in ACLS and BLS.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent.
  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in emergency nursing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
