Petro-Canada is seeking a skilled Sales Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for leading sales teams and driving business growth in our retail locations.

About the Role

  • We are looking for a motivated individual with excellent leadership and communication skills to manage sales teams and drive business results.
  • You will oversee daily sales activities, including ordering merchandise, authorizing returns, and preparing reports on sales volumes and personnel matters.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead Sales Teams: Assign sales workers to duties, establish work schedules, and supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers.
  2. Drive Business Growth: Analyze sales data, identify trends, and implement strategies to increase sales volumes and revenue.
  3. Manage Inventory: Order merchandise, authorize returns, and maintain accurate inventory levels.
  4. Prepare Reports: Compile and analyze sales data, prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
  5. Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise.

Requirements

  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail sales environment.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Fast-paced work environment with tight deadlines.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.

Working Conditions:

  • Work must be completed at the physical location; no option to work remotely.
