Job Title: Front Desk Supervisor

Moxy by Marriott Halifax, NS is seeking a skilled Front Desk Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process, and maintaining a high level of hospitality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and train front desk staff to ensure excellent customer service and efficient operations
  • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Manage front desk operations, including check-in, check-out, and room assignments
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including guest information and front desk statistics
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in hospitality or a related field an asset
  • Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of hotel software systems
