Job Title: Stockyard Fill Associate

Join Société Canadian Tire as a Stockyard Fill Associate and be a key member of our Logistics Fill Team. This role is responsible for ensuring that products are transported from the warehouse to the sales floor in an efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Stock shelves and ensure that product and overstock are placed in the appropriate locations.
  • Remove stock belonging to a different location and replace damaged or expired items when necessary.
  • Report stolen and damaged goods to Management.
  • Dispose of shipping boxes, trash, and other waste.
  • Adhere to all health and safety programs and regulations, reporting any observed or potential hazards immediately.
  • Interact with others in a professional manner, using professional language and maintaining a professional appearance.
  • Complete other tasks as required.
Requirements:
  • Ability to follow direction and coaching.
  • Ability to work in other areas of the store, if required.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
  • Standing and walking for up to 4 hours.
  • Using lift equipment.
  • Lifting and/or carrying merchandise items, as required, on a regular, frequent, and unassisted basis.
  • Lifting and turning repeatedly throughout the shift.
  • Lifting and twisting above the shoulder, from the floor to shoulder, and floor to waist.
  • Ability to go up and down a ladder and stairs while carrying merchandise.
  • Walking and carrying things at the same time and pushing/pulling, as required.
