At Kaizen Lab Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to lead our Resident Services department. This is a full-time position with a hybrid work arrangement in downtown Toronto.

The RoleAs our Senior Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, management, monitoring, and evaluation of all programs within the Resident Services department. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our services are delivered efficiently and effectively, aligning with our organization's values and mission.
You will provide leadership for an integrated service delivery model, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development among staff. You will also work closely with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery, outcomes-focused practices, evidence-informed approaches, and harm reduction principles.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring service delivery and taking corrective action as needed to ensure that program principles, policies, and procedures are applied consistently across all program areas.
- Evaluating service standards and practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
- Leading and managing departmental program reviews, evaluations, and quality improvement plans using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and outcomes.
- Identifying gaps in service and providing leadership around program development to address these gaps.
- Developing and implementing annual service plans to support the strategic vision for the department.
- Promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development among staff.
- Ensuring the timely completion of all required program documentation, including financial reports, client services records, personnel files, and program reports.
- Overseeing the creation and management of departmental finances and budgets, providing guidance to program managers on budget management.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager with a strong background in social work, human services, or a related field. A Master's degree or equivalent is preferred. You must have at least five years of senior managerial experience, with a proven track record of leading diverse teams, resolving issues, and driving high standards of work quality and organizational performance.
You should possess excellent change management skills, ability to establish effective working relationships with stakeholders, employees, and outside agencies, and knowledge of relevant government legislation in governance, budgeting, financial reporting, service delivery, employee relations, and occupational health and safety.
A competitive salary of $120,000 per year reflects your extensive experience and qualifications in this role.
