Job Title: HPGR Service Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled HPGR Service Engineer to join our team at Weir. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our HPGR equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HPGR equipment, including grease and oil lube systems, wear components, and rotating equipment.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for electrical and mechanical issues, including PLC and ATWM problems.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve equipment issues, and report findings to management.
  • Support Canadian service manager and FS Coordinator with onsite HPGR shutdowns, ensuring equipment is performing at an optimum level.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to safety and adhere to our zero harm behaviors.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (EIT).
  • 2-3 years of relevant technical experience in mining field with crushers.
  • PLC experience and ATWM training is an asset.
  • Passport required for international training.
  • Will consider Millwrights with a Red Seal and electrical, mining, or crushing experience.
