Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patient Food Services Supervisor to join our team at St. Boniface Hospital. As a key member of our Food Services department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of service and accuracy in the operation and planning of work, supervision of employees, procurement of patient and office related products, and participation in quality management programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and direct a team of Food Services employees to ensure efficient and effective operation of the department.
  • Procure and manage the inventory of patient and office related products to meet the needs of our patients and staff.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of quality management programs to ensure the highest standards of service and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the Manager, Patient Food Services to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Grade 12 or recognized equivalent.
  • Successful completion of an approved Food Services Supervisor's course or equivalent.
  • Valid Food Handler Training Certificate required.
  • Membership with the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management is preferred.
  • Proficiency in the use of common software applications, preferably the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven organizational skills.
