Job Summary
We're seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in supporting the coordination and administration of training and facilitation plans/programs, including professional designation support initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Training and Development
- Lead the coordination and administration of training and facilitation plans/programs.
- Support the development and implementation of professional designation support initiatives.
- Talent Acquisition
- Provide support to the HR team in recruiting and onboarding practices.
- Administrative Support
- Provide administrative support to HR programs and policy administration.
- Participate in district HR strategic planning process.
- Support district-level projects/initiatives as assigned.
- Research and Reporting
- Assist with research and general administrative support pertaining to total rewards.
- Maintain and prepare scheduled and ad hoc reporting as needed.
Requirements
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related discipline preferred.
- Experience
- Working towards an HR designation preferred.
- Some co-op/internship or relevant experience preferred.
- Skills
- Basic understanding of HR-related principles, practices, procedures, and employment legislation.
- Ability to act with discretion when handling confidential information.
- Ability to research and analyze information.
- Able to work independently or in a team environment in a highly matrixed organization.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational skills, high level of detail orientation, and ability to multitask and prioritize conflicting deadlines.
- Good networking skills with the ability to develop and maintain HR networks.
- Results-oriented and able to meet deadlines.
