About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Leadership Professional to join our team. As a key member of our leadership group, you will play a critical role in coordinating all activities to achieve business metrics and implementing processes and initiatives that drive continuous improvement and sustainability.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the production plan is met by analyzing issues with other roles, driving and implementing continuous improvement activities, and sustaining solutions within the Zone.
  • Maintaining a safe workplace by leading the Team to improve Safety in the area and enforcing the use of mandated Safety tools and procedures.
  • Understanding losses during the Shift and coordinating activities to improve performance.
  • Proactively analyzing quality KPIs related to the Zone, prioritizing quality issues, and properly addressing them.
  • Guiding Leaders & Operators.
  • Ensuring the right allocation of personnel on the line, managing absenteeism, training, and building teams.
  • Possessing knowledge of the broader manufacturing organization and having the ability to mobilize support groups and resources to lead and assist in problem-solving activities.
  • Actively participating and leading kaizen project activities centered on Safety, Cost, Quality, and Throughput improvements and waste reduction opportunities identified through cost inefficiencies and losses.
  • Ensuring team compliance to established policies and standards, including but not limited to safety, quality, attendance, and throughput.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • The ability to work any shift and overtime as required.
  • Excellent organization, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with various levels of employees within all areas of the Plant.
  • The ability to build effective business relationships with plant leadership and customers.
  • The ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A goal-oriented self-starter with the ability to lead teams.
  • The ability to coach, mentor, and develop team members.
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Legal entitlement to work in Canada.
Preferred Requirements

While not mandatory, possessing the following qualifications would be beneficial:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
  • Two or more years' experience in supervision in a high-volume environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop team members.
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in continuous improvement systems and lean manufacturing.
About Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan with a generous company match.
