About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Apple's Sales team and contribute to the company's ongoing development of innovative products and services. As a Telecom Account Manager, you will be responsible for implementing and executing strategies to drive sales growth, identifying opportunities to expand Apple's business, and building strong relationships with carrier partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement mid-to-long-term account plans to drive sales growth and revenue targets.
  • Craft effective customer value propositions and compelling value networks through ecosystem selling.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with carrier partners at C-level, developing a focused and productive alliance with Apple.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to stay up-to-date on market activities, account history, and emerging trends.
  • Spearhead tactical plans and activities with carriers to achieve iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, AirPods, Accessories, and Apple Services sell-through targets.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 8+ years of extensive account management experience in Canada.
  • A successful track record of growing business account relationships as a National or Global Account Manager at an OEM manufacturer or FMCG.
  • A deep understanding of the telecom business in Canada, with a customer-focused consultative mindset to lead innovation.
  • Multiple retail channel management experience, including channel development skills and the ability to interact at senior levels.
Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:

  • An intellectual capability to explore new opportunities in the market and comfortable dealing with ambiguity in a dynamic environment.
  • The ability to act as a trusted advisor with the aim to drive win-win outcomes for both the account and Apple.
  • A drive to go beyond the industry norm and demonstrate creativity in problem-solving, ability to think dynamically and outside of the standard convention, and adapt quickly to new technical areas.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
