Financial Operations Coordinator

**About the Role:**
The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health - CAMH is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Financial Operations Coordinator to join their team.
**Job Summary:**
We are looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to support the Accounts Payables area. As a Finance Assistant, you will be responsible for processing invoices according to standard operating procedures, ensuring all invoices are processed within standard turnaround times, responding to queries from programs, scanning and saving invoices along with its supporting documents, providing backup for other AP team members, ensuring payments are supported and approved according to established payment policies and procedures, processing weekly payment runs, and assisting with internal and external audit preparations.
**Key Responsibilities:
- Process invoices in accordance with standard operating procedures
- Ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices
- Respond to queries from programs and provide excellent customer service
- Support the AP team with daily tasks and responsibilities
- Assist with internal and external audit preparations
**Requirements:**
- Two years Post-Secondary formal education in Accounting and/or Business Management
- At least two years of Accounts Payable experience
- Superior interpersonal, communication (written and oral), problem-solving, organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
- Diplomacy, judgment, and initiative
- Ability to work under pressure to meet conflicting deadlines
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software packages specifically Excel
- Previous experience using Lawson and an Access database is considered an asset
**What We Offer:**
A competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.
