About This Opportunity

Coca-Cola Canada Bottling Limited is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Manager to join our team. As a Sales Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and capitalizing on sales opportunities with a wide range of customers, including grocery stores, mass merchandisers, convenience & gas stores, restaurants & bars, and other food service / on-premise establishments.

Your primary goal will be to drive profitable sales by deeply understanding the diverse channels and Coca-Cola Canada's beverage portfolio. You will play a critical role in helping us achieve our goal of becoming our customers' most valued supplier.

As a Sales Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing strong, collaborative partnerships with our customers. You will also be responsible for expanding the customer base and driving business growth within your designated territory.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong analytical, organizational, planning, verbal and written communication skills. You will be working closely with our sales team to achieve our sales goals and objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Sell against customer promotional plans and increase in-store points of purchase by evaluating and securing incremental displays and equipment.
  • Focus on driving growth and profitability for the customer and company.
  • Ensure proper execution and compliance of customer marketing agreements in all accounts.
  • Seek out and acquire new business opportunities within the assigned territory and sales channels.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels and merchandising standards in each account.
  • Provide a high level of customer service and resolve issues promptly.
  • Proactively arrange time and territory to achieve optimum face-to-face selling opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with key customers / suppliers that result in win-win solutions.
  • Model behaviors that are indicative of an aligned system.
  • Leverage local knowledge to influence and leverage system strengths to drive positive results.
  • Be seen as a key leader for Coca-Cola Canada Bottling Limited in the local market.
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education, preferably in a business-related field or sufficient business experience in a similar role.
  • Must be 18 years of age and legally eligible to work.
  • Must have a personal vehicle for use during working hours.
  • Must have current vehicle liability insurance.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a sales role, preferably in the consumer goods industry.
  • Minimum of 2 years in consumer products/direct store delivery sales/major account management.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, planning, verbal and written communication skills are a must.
  • Proficient using a variety of computer programs.
  • Valid driver's license and driving record within MVR policy guidelines.
  • Ability to handle multiple customer accounts.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.
  • Excellent planning and organization skills.
  • Proficient computer application skills.
