About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team at Brar Flooring. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality tile installations for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and measure surfaces to be covered with tile
  • Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to the base
  • Align and straighten tiles to ensure a precise fit
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools
  • Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles
  • Mix, lay, and polish terrazzo surfaces
Work Environment

As a Flooring Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced commercial and residential setting. You will be exposed to dusty environments and will be required to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding role.

Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in tile installation
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and work in a physically demanding role
