About the Role

Gulfian Resources Inc is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our motel facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the cleanliness and safety of our facilities, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors, as well as operating industrial vacuum cleaners and performing minor repairs.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and repair equipment, including industrial vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaning machines, and other machinery.
  • Grounds Maintenance: Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens, as well as clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
  • Safety and Security: Perform safety and security checks, and respond to any incidents or emergencies.
  • Relocation: Willing to relocate to our rural area location.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in all weather conditions, handle heavy loads, and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, and reliability.
