Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Gulfian Resources Inc. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our motel and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors, as well as operating industrial vacuum cleaners and making minor repairs to heating, cooling, and electrical systems.
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers, and clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
  • Work with minimal supervision, and be willing to relocate for this position.
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs, such as painting and drywall repair, and water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent oral communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure and handle heavy loads.
  • Dependability, flexibility, initiative, and reliability.
Work Environment

Our motel is located in a rural area, and we are willing to relocate for the right candidate. The work environment is all-weather conditions, and the work setting is a motel.
