Job Title: Inventory Control Supervisor

A-1 Cash and Carry is seeking an experienced Inventory Control Supervisor to join our team. As an Inventory Control Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our inventory management system, coordinating activities with other work units or departments, and preparing and submitting reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient inventory management.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on inventory levels, stock movements, and other relevant metrics.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of inventory.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, including conducting regular cycle counts and audits.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient inventory management.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics of the organization.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in inventory control or a related field.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
