Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Coffee Shop Barista Professional to join our team at Second Cup. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages to customers in a fast-paced environment.
  • Operate manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
  • Keep records of the quantities of food used and manage inventory levels.
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, taking orders and responding to inquiries.
  • Use efficient interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships with customers.
Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • You must have reliable transportation and be available to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • A strong client focus, efficiency, and ability to work as part of a team are essential for success in this role.
Work Environment:

This is a physically demanding role that requires standing for extended periods, repetitive tasks, and lifting up to 9 kg (20 lbs). If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply for this opportunity.
