About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide to join our team at KEEDWELL ASSISTED LIVING CENTER INC. As a Personal Care Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist residents with bathing, dressing, and grooming, ensuring their personal hygiene and dignity are maintained.
  • Assistance with Daily Activities: Help residents with feeding, toileting, and mobility, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Housekeeping and Laundry: Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties, maintaining a clean and comfortable living environment.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, engaging in activities and conversations that promote their mental and emotional well-being.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of resident care, including medication administration and vital signs.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Experience in a care-related field is an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Availability: Availability to work 35-40 hours per week.
