Job Title: Personal Care Aide

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide to join our team at KEEDWELL ASSISTED LIVING CENTER INC.

Job Summary

The Personal Care Aide will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, assisting with daily living activities, personal care, and household tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care to residents, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
  • Assist residents with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Support residents with regular exercise, such as walking, to maintain their physical and mental well-being.
  • Feed or assist residents with feeding, ensuring their nutritional needs are met.
  • Launder clothing and household linens, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, ensuring the living space is comfortable and safe.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, promoting their mental health and well-being.
  • Provide personal care, including assistance with toileting, grooming, and other daily living activities.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience an asset.
Working Conditions
  • Permanent work term.
  • 35 to 40 hours per week.
  • English language required.
