Job Title: Personal Care Aide

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Care Aide to join our team at Keedwell Assisted Living Center Inc. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and mobility.
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to residents, promoting a sense of community and belonging.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Assist with laundry and linen services to ensure residents' personal items are clean and hygienic.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in a care-related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
Working Conditions:
  • 35-40 hours per week.
  • Permanent position.
  • English language required.
