About the Role:

As a Senior Credit Risk professional in our Global Banking and Advisory team, you will play a crucial role in managing a portfolio of large US corporates and subsidiaries of non-US groups in diverse industries. Your primary responsibility will be to prepare comprehensive credit analyses, review legal documentation, and monitor portfolios under the supervision of a Director - Senior Credit Analyst.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis of corporate counterparties, assessing their credit quality and recommending appropriate credit limits, terms, and conditions.
  • Prepare financial projections and determine debt repayment capability, ensuring compliance with SGUS Credit Policies.
  • Propose and update Obligor Risk Ratings, monitoring compliance with covenants.
  • Review legal documentation, including credit agreements, guarantees, ISDA, and CSA, and propose changes as necessary to comply with SGUS policies.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams, including CPM teams in the US, Europe, and Asia, business lines, bankers, legal & compliance, operations, and Risk department.

Requirements:
  • Strong financial analytical skills, with the ability to assess credit terms and conditions.
  • Excellent understanding of commercial and investment banking products, commercial and investment banking products, and accounting, legal, and regulatory issues governing relevant sectors.
  • Ability to work in a team, interacting with teams located in other locations (US, India, Europe). Strong writing skills, particularly in assessing and summarizing financial transactions.
  • Ability to investigate/research/synthesize data and make appropriate conclusions.
