About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Credit Specialist to join our team at SGS Société Générale de Surveillance SA.

Job Description

The successful candidate will work within our Credit Portfolio Management Group, responsible for managing a portfolio of large US corporates and subsidiaries of non-US groups in diverse industries.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Credit Analysis: Prepare comprehensive credit analyses, review legal documentation, and ongoing portfolio monitoring under the supervision of the Senior Credit Analyst.
  • Financial Assessment: Analyze financial statements, assess credit quality, recommend credit limits, terms, and conditions, including financial projections and debt repayment capability.
  • Obligor Risk Ratings: Propose and update Obligor Risk Ratings to ensure compliance with SGUS Credit Policies.
  • Covenant Monitoring: Monitor compliance with covenants and propose changes as necessary to comply with SGUS policies.
  • Collaboration: Liaise with other CPM teams in the US, Europe, Asia, business lines, Bankers, legal & compliance, operations, and Risk department.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, proficiency in Excel for spreadsheet analysis, and knowledge of capital markets/traded products and committed financing facilities.

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years as a credit analyst in a corporate and investment banking entity or related field.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • Strong writing skills, ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.

Estimated Salary Range:$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
