Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Dairy Queen. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as training staff in food preparation and handling.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and organization.
  • Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling techniques.
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Safe Food Handling certificate and Food Safety Certificate.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week. The work environment is fast-paced, and the ability to work under pressure is essential.
