Job Title: Landscaping Supervisor

The Friendly Groundskeepers Inc is seeking a skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, organization, and execution of landscaping projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning: Develop and implement plans for landscaping projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the work of grounds maintenance staff, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of equipment and tools, ensuring that they are in good working order.
  • Material Procurement: Source and procure materials and supplies as needed, ensuring that they meet quality and budget standards.
  • Client Communication: Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and to provide updates on project progress.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in landscaping or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced outdoor environment, with regular exposure to the elements. The ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with regular bending, crouching, and kneeling, is essential.
