Key Responsibilities:- Inventory Management: Oversee the management of parts inventory within our system to ensure optimal turn rates and minimize stockouts.
- Process Optimization: Analyze and improve parts department processes to enhance internal and external customer satisfaction.
- Sales Growth: Develop and implement strategies to increase profitable parts sales and expand our market share.
- Expense Control: Exercise disciplined expense control to meet or exceed department budget.
- Vendor Relationships: Manage relationships with parts vendors, including service expectations, pricing, inventory requirements, and contract negotiation.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing parts team through hiring, training, coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
- Customer Service: Ensure superior external and internal customer service through effective staff scheduling and coverage.
- Product Sourcing: Collaborate with product support and manufacturing groups to source and stock internally manufactured product parts.
- Business Planning: Develop an annual parts sales business plan and budget, including support for other Brandt branches.
- Cross-Marketing: Work with sales departments to maximize cross-marketing opportunities.
- Leadership Experience: Previous leadership experience in a parts department is preferred.
- Technical Skills: HD Journeyman Parts person ticket is considered an asset, as is warehouse management experience.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in computer skills is required.
