Job Opportunity:

Manitoba Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Immunologist to join our team at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

About the Role:

As a Clinical Immunologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating diseases, prescribing medications and treatment, ordering lab tests and x-rays, and consulting with other physicians as required. This role encompasses 30% of the position.

The successful candidate will also be eligible for appointment at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Professor, and appointed as a geographical full-time member of the Max Rady College of Medicine, Rady Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Manitoba, which encompasses 70% of the position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat diseases
• Prescribe medications and treatment
• Order lab tests and x-rays
• Consult with other physicians as required
• Conduct research and publish findings in high-impact journals
• Obtain peer-reviewed research funding from recognized granting agencies

Requirements:

• Doctor of Medicine Degree with specialization in Allergy and Clinical Immunology
• Strong record of publications in high-impact journals commensurate with career stage
• Proven ability to obtain peer-reviewed research funding from recognized granting agencies
