We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Second Cook to join our culinary team at Nita Lake Lodge - Hotel. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as training staff in food preparation and handling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste.
  • Staff Training: Train kitchen staff and helpers in food preparation, cooking, and handling techniques.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Clean kitchen and work areas, and organize buffets and banquets.
  • Supervision: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, ensuring efficient and effective kitchen operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Hotel, motel, or resort environment.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail, and physically demanding tasks.
