Job Summary

RANOVUS is seeking a highly skilled Senior Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a critical member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing reliability engineering and program management support to multiple departments. Your expertise will be essential in defining and managing product qualification programs, as well as ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute qualification plans for photonic and electronic components, ensuring compliance with international standards such as Telcordia GR-468 and IPC standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate reliability risks associated with component technologies.
  • Generate customer qualification reports and present results to stakeholders.
  • Review and ensure compliance with contract manufacturer reliability plans and results.
  • Support product development by providing reliability modeling and simulation expertise.
  • Ensure product environmental compliance by leveraging external consultants for ROHS and conflict minerals reporting.
  • Manage product regulatory compliance by ensuring adherence to external regulatory standards for safety, EMI/EMC, and other applicable requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, plus 10+ years of experience in high technology product development and manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of photonics technology and its applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal process owners and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of reliability, maintainability, and risk management principles, as defined by the American Society for Quality.
  • Ability to analyze data using standard quantitative methods and facilitate process analysis and improvements.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certified Quality Engineer, Certified Reliability Engineer, or Certified Six Sigma Black Belt accreditation from the American Society for Quality.
