Senior Reliability Engineer

Ranovus is seeking an experienced Senior Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a critical member of our organization, you will provide reliability engineering and program management support to multiple departments.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute product qualification plans, ensuring compliance with international standards such as Telcordia GR-468 and relevant Military JEDEC and IPC standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate reliability risks associated with photonic and electronic component technologies.
  • Manage customer qualification reports, ensuring timely and accurate documentation and presentation of qualification results.
  • Review and ensure compliance with contract manufacturer reliability plans and results.
  • Support product development by providing reliability modeling and simulation, as well as photonics and electronic component reliability prediction and modeling.
  • Ensure product environmental compliance with ROHS and conflict minerals reporting requirements.
  • Manage product regulatory compliance, ensuring adherence to external regulatory standards for safety, EMI/EMC, and other applicable requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, plus 10+ years of related work experience.
  • Strong understanding of high technology product development and manufacturing methods.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a well-developed understanding of business concepts, procedures, and practices.
  • Knowledge of reliability, maintainability, and risk management, as defined by the body of knowledge for reliability engineers from the American Society for Quality.
  • Ability to acquire and analyze data using standard quantitative methods to facilitate process analysis and improvements.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certified Quality Engineer, Certified Reliability Engineer, or Certified Six Sigma Black Belt from the American Society for Quality.
