Job Title: Assistant Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Supervisor to join our team at the Government of Saskatchewan. As an Assistant Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting the supervision of Child Protection workers and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to vulnerable children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and support to Child Protection workers in the field
  • Conduct regular supervision sessions to discuss case progress and provide feedback
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery and outcomes
  • Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure effective service coordination
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g. social work, child and youth care)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in a supervisory role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
