Job Title: Assistant Supervisor
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Supervisor to join our team at the Government of Saskatchewan. As an Assistant Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting the supervision of Child Protection workers and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to vulnerable children and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and support to Child Protection workers in the field
- Conduct regular supervision sessions to discuss case progress and provide feedback
- Develop and implement strategies to improve case outcomes and service delivery
- Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure effective service coordination
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g. social work, child and youth care)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in a supervisory role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
