As a Construction Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling tasks, managing workflows, and maintaining open communication with project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Coordination: Plan, coordinate, and oversee construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budgets.
  • Team Supervision: Directly supervise and mentor a team of 5-10 skilled tradespeople, providing guidance, support, and constructive feedback.
  • Safety Management: Ensure a safe working environment by implementing and enforcing health and safety protocols, conducting regular site inspections, and addressing any concerns or incidents promptly.
  • Quality Control: Maintain high-quality standards by inspecting work in progress, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Communication: Foster strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders through effective communication, ensuring clear expectations and project goals are met.
Requirements:
  • Education: College diploma or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., construction management, civil engineering).
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry.
  • Skills: Strong leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, proficiency in MS Office, and experience with construction software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend).
  • Certifications: Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) or a related field is an asset.
